Event Partners

Wordtura welcomes event partnerships relevant to games, technology, creators, and digital culture. Support is selected according to its value to readers and the site operator’s capacity.

Wordtura grew out of Anime News Plus. Previous partners are welcome to get in touch again under Wordtura’s current direction and terms.

EVENT SUPPORT INFORMATION

Review the support options, then apply.

Selected for Relevance

The topic, value of the information, and the site operator’s capacity are considered.

Agreed Together

The type of support, number of articles, and schedule are agreed upon together.

History Preserved

Documentation of Anime News Plus’s publishing relationships is available on this page.

01 / EVENT ELIGIBILITY

Events you can propose.

Wordtura prioritises events related to:

  • Games, game development, and gaming communities.
  • Technology, hardware, PC equipment, software, and digital services.
  • Creator activities, writing, and digital culture, including anime and animation relevant to Wordtura readers.

Proposals are welcome from communities, schools, universities, and professional organisers. Events may include festivals, exhibitions, seminars, workshops, talk shows, or community gatherings. Each proposal is reviewed according to its topic and support requirements.

02 / SUPPORT OPTIONS

Support we can consider.

Support that may be considered includes:

  • An announcement or introduction to the event based on official organiser materials.
  • Updates to information in an existing article.
  • A post-event summary, where the materials are complete and useful to readers.
  • Supporting posts on agreed Wordtura social media channels.

Articles based on organiser press releases are published in the Press Release category with clear attribution. Materials are edited for readability and Wordtura’s writing style.

Standard support may be provided free of charge. Acceptance, type of support, number of articles, social media channels, and publication schedule depend on agreement and available capacity. Sending materials does not automatically guarantee publication or promotion across every channel.

Special promotional requirements, specific placements, or paid partnerships are discussed separately by email. The nature of the partnership will be disclosed to readers as appropriate.

03 / PARTNERSHIP EXPECTATIONS

Support limitations and event invitations.

Standard support does not include a commitment to attend in person, provide live reporting, livestream, create a vlog, or produce a dedicated video. Organisers are still welcome to send invitations or offer complimentary media access.

An invitation or media access does not automatically guarantee attendance or on-site coverage. Attendance depends on time, distance, and agreement. Agreed publication support can still proceed using official materials even if the site operator does not attend.

Event partnerships do not determine scores or assessments in Wordtura reviews. Firsthand experience is distinguished from information supplied by organisers.

04 / PREPARING YOUR MATERIALS

Information to prepare.

For an initial proposal, include:

  • The event name and organiser’s identity.
  • The date, venue, or online platform.
  • A brief overview and its relevance to Wordtura readers.
  • The type of support requested.
  • Official links and a contact person.

Once the proposal is accepted, send a complete press release or official description, ticket or registration details, poster or key visual, logos, and photos and a media kit where available. Ensure the assets may be used for publication and include any required credits.

For post-event materials, include a summary of activities, verifiable information, official photographs, and links to supporting documentation. Wordtura may request clarification if anything is unclear.

Article Count and Updates

The number of articles depends on the information needed and our agreement. Minor changes, such as schedule updates, guest line-ups, or ticket information, may be added to an existing article.

A new article is considered when there is additional information of sufficient value to readers. Post-event coverage and announcements of subsequent events are reviewed separately.

05 / SUBMISSIONS

Send your materials and allow time.

TIME-SENSITIVE MATERIALS

At Least 2 Days

Before your preferred publication date.

LARGE EVENTS OR COMPLEX REQUESTS

At Least 7 Days

Allow more preparation time for materials that require additional work.

Send proposals to wordtura@gmail.com with the suggested subject: [Event Partnership] Event Name. This format helps organise emails; the main priority is that the proposal is clear.

For follow-up materials, use [EVENT PRESS] Event Name or [EVENT POST] Event Name and refer to the previous partnership conversation.

Please send materials at least 2 days before your preferred publication date. For large events or more complex requirements, allow at least 7 days. These lead times help with preparation and do not guarantee a publication date. Same-day publication cannot be promised.

Wordtura may postpone or decline proposals that are irrelevant, lack sufficient information, repeat existing material without adding value, or do not fit its editorial policy or available capacity.

Press Release Submissions

If you only need to submit a press release, please read the Press Partner Guidelines. The Event Partners page is for discussing event support that requires further agreement.

HISTORICAL RECORD · 51 LOGOS

Anime News Plus Publishing Relationships Archive

This section preserves the names and logos of organisations that previously communicated or had publishing relationships with Anime News Plus, the site that preceded Wordtura. The nature of each relationship varied, including press release submissions and publication partnerships.

This is a historical archive and does not mean that every relationship remains active today. The documentation was moved to Wordtura so it remains accessible without relying on the old site.
