About Wordtura

A journey in words, turning experience into writing.

Wordtura is a home for the things I write from experience, curiosity, and a desire to understand more. Here you will find reviews of games, products and services, guides, technology, digital culture, and opinions and stories from my life as a creator.

THE STORY BEHIND THE SITE

Why Wordtura Exists

After years of running an anime news site, I wanted to write about more things that did not always fit the “anime news” label. Keeping up with the latest news had become demanding, especially once I was managing the site on my own.

Wordtura gives me room to write at a healthier pace. I can review a game after playing it, put together a guide from personal experience, or share what it is like to be a creator. My writing stays grounded in experience and clear sources, with room to discuss both strengths and shortcomings.

INDEPENDENTLY RUN

I’m Nosphire

I write under the name Nosphire. Alongside running Wordtura, I make gaming videos on YouTube and write fiction. Playing games, trying things out, and creating my own work often shape what I write here.

6 NOVEMBER 2026

A new chapter for Wordtura.

Since 6 November 2026, I have given Wordtura a clearer direction: writing with care and offering lasting value to readers. The focus is on reviews, guides, and discussions grounded in personal experience and perspective that remain useful to revisit.

Wordtura has also begun developing into a multilingual site. Indonesian remains the main language, while an English version is being prepared gradually so more readers can enjoy the writing here. Translations are reviewed to keep them natural, clear, and faithful to the original meaning.

Press releases remain supporting content, selected carefully. Anniversary announcements, game updates, anime, comics, games and novel release or broadcast schedules, and short-term concert promotions are no longer accepted. Releases such as albums or CDs may still be considered when they offer room to discuss the work in more depth.

THE NAME

A journey in words.

The name Wordtura combines “word” with a made-up ending, “tura”. Its sound draws inspiration from words such as ventura, futura, and natura, which bring to mind journeys, worlds, and things that keep growing.

To me, Wordtura means a journey in words: a place where experience and thought meet through writing.

THE SYMBOL

A W in motion.

The W-shaped icon uses simple, dynamic lines to represent a journey and openness. Its green-to-turquoise gradient reflects growth and renewal.

The logo remains part of Wordtura’s identity as the writing takes new directions. That journey continues with new experiences and things I want to write about.

SINCE 2015

From Anime News Plus to Wordtura.

Wordtura is developed by the same person who founded Anime News Plus. It carries the experience of running a small community into a home for more personal writing.

01 · BEFORE THE BEGINNING

13 September 2015

A Chance Gathering

Anime News Plus began by chance in a LINE social media group whose members shared an interest in Japanese animation.

02 · THE FOUNDING

17 September 2015

Anime News Plus Is Born

Anime News Plus was founded under the original name ANIPLUS (Anime PLUS), operating exclusively on LINE.

03 · GROWTH

10 January 2016 – 14 December 2018

From Social Media to a Website

The project started as ANIPLUS, later becoming aniPLUS (Anime News Information Plus) as more writers joined, before settling on the name Anime News Plus (ANP). Alongside sharing information on Facebook, the team built an Alpha website. The Beta version separated the Information Zone from the ANP Zone. Version 1.0 brought them back together with a refreshed, responsive design and introduced Anime News Plus’s first mascot.

04 · GROWTH AND DECLINE

1 February 2019 – 17 September 2024

Writing Until I Was the Only One Left

During this period, Anime News Plus progressed through versions 2 to 12. The design and navigation were repeatedly updated, themes changed, and new features appeared: festival and music sections, video headlines, light and dark modes, a PWA, and AI integration. Coverage expanded to international games and content across platforms. The site became faster and more mobile-friendly, with a stronger visual identity. Behind those changes, however, team members gradually stepped away until I was running ANP entirely on my own. With the workload piling up and so many features and social accounts to manage, publishing slowed until almost all activity on the website stopped.

05 · REINVENTION

21 November 2025

Wordtura Soft Launch

Wordtura entered a redevelopment phase, building on the experience and foundations of Anime News Plus. The design, structure, and features were rebuilt with a mobile-first approach and updated code, creating a faster, modern home ready for a wider range of writing.

06 · A NEW CHAPTER

6 November 2026

A Focus on Quality and a Multilingual Beginning

Wordtura sharpened its focus on reviews, guides, and writing based on personal experience, alongside a more selective approach to press releases. Development of a multilingual site also began, with Indonesian as the main language and an English version prepared in stages.
